Dieter Schwald heads CRH-Access Control subdivision

Since July 1, 2008, Dieter Schwald has been responsible – within the strategic business unit – for managing the new Access Control subdivision, at present comprising the companies Magnetic Autocontrol, Topguard and Geoquip. This new subdivision focuses on providing solutions, systems, products and services for controlled access to buildings or sites. In this function Dieter Schwald will direct the ongoing growth of the integrated companies, exploit synergies and look out for appropriate additions to complement this area of activity. He will also continue to act as CEO of the Magnetic Autocontrol Group for an interim period. His international experience in the sector together with his goal-oriented and judicious approach make Dieter Schwald the ideal person to take on this new challenge. We wish him continued success in his new role.
