Toll road barriers in Vietnam

   

Magnetic Control Systems Sdn Bhd (founded in 1995) in Kuala Lumpur is a subsidiary of Magnetic Autocontrol, a world wide leading manufacturer of vehicle and pedestrian access control systems.

 

In Vietnam Magnetic has supplied two tolled highway projects:

 

Tram Thu Phi An Suong Highway

operated by Cong Ty Botasal – HCMC 1 & 2

 

This is dubbed as the model tolled highway by the transport Minister. This highway is about 16 km long. It is designed on a Built, Operate and Transfer (BOT) concept by Cong Ty Botsal. The toll collection period is for 12 years. There are 10 manual lanes at the toll plaza and the traffic flow is more than 27.000 vehicles per day. The toll system is supplied by local Vietnamese companies. It was officially open in 2005.

 

 

 

The toll road barriers were manufactured and supplied by Magnetic Control Systems.

 

 

Tram Thu Phi Xa Lo Hanoi

operated by Ho Chi Minh City Infrastructure Investment – HCMC 3 &4

 

This project was the first toll project of Magnetic in Vietnam. This highway will connect Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi when it is completed. In addition it is also the first highway in Vietnam using an Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) system. A total of about 10 lanes and traffic flow is more than 30.000 vehicles per day.

 

 

 

This toll road project is the “role model for all future toll highways”. We are proud to have supplied our expertise and our toll road barriers to this project.
