Magnetic Automation Pty Ltd in Perth, Western Australia was approached by Update Fencing from Alice Springs, Northern Territory to provide a solution for the installation of a perimeter slide gate for the Muti Tribal Community Ranges Depot, situated near Uluru (Ayers Rock). With the need to take into consideration the high cost of freighting the gate from Perth to the installation site and for the installation to be completed quickly it was decided to use the Heras Delta Cantilevered Modular Gate as the solution.
Cantilevered Modular Gate with PE Beams The gate is the main entrance gate for the depot. Length of the gate is 6 meters in width. Entry and exit control of the gate are handled by card readers. As the ground covering is sand, installation of in-ground vehicle safety induction loops was not possible so PE Beams were installed. The Magnetic MSL 20 Slide Gate motor and controller was used offering 100% duty cycle.
